We turn motion into meaning
Our History
AWare Technologies began in 2004 as a contract research company focused on ambulatory monitoring for soldiers and athletes. We successfully executed SBIR Phase II and STTR contracts with the US Army, and participated in the DARPA ASSIST BAA as part of the IBM/MIT/Georgia Tech team. In addition, AWare has provided athletic motion analysis services to Olympic sport organizations.
In 2007 we relaunched the company to focus on delivering products in the corporate and consumer fitness and wellness markets. In 2008 we released FitAWare, our flagship corporate fitness solution. With the release of StepTrakLite, AWare is delivering its motion analysis expertise to a mass market through the Apple iPhone.
Our Team
